Today's re-enactment in honor of the 235th anniversary of the march to Battle of Trenton was incredible. The crossing of Jacobs Creek by some 100 men, those walking and those on horseback was awe inspiring. I hope some pictures will be posted.

So committee woman, used to be mayor, Vanessa Sandom did work for J&J, per the Hopewell Valley paper. We now we know why she wanted rid of the Jacobs Creek Bridge.
Hey LUCKYSAYS, I think you have hit the nail on the head.....Sandom and Hughes need to be not re-elected.
The Brian Hughes boondoogle at Jacobs Creek Bridge is the poster child for what his administratiion is all about: wasteful spending, politcal partisanship and immense arrogance. This fiasco illustrates Hughes will go to any length to get his way. Locally Vaness Sandom has been in stride with Hughes every step of the way. Vote Hughes and Sandom out of office!

I am disturbed about the reasoning behind this project. If County Executive Hughes is actually concerned about their community why are they essentially allowing unlimited traffic on roads that should not have heavy trucks passing through this area? The reasoning that there is no enforcement is suspicious and sounds dishonest. So does this mean that any law that is not aggressively enforced should be considered to be repealed? Rewards the violators?

This already Nationally Registered historic district is in danger of severe consequences should the County plan to replace the Jacobs Creek Bridge with a massive new roadway allowing tracter trailer trucks. Harbourton is approximately 1.5 miles down Bear Tavern Road from the bridge site. Thank you!
