Crossing the creek and marching on through that chilling winter night, they reached Trenton and won the battle that many call the turning point of our war for independence.

This already Nationally Registered historic district is in danger of severe consequences should the County plan to replace the Jacobs Creek Bridge with a massive new roadway allowing tracter trailer trucks. Harbourton is approximately 1.5 miles down Bear Tavern Road from the bridge site. Thank you!
